I'm sorry there hasn't been any writing. I've been rather bogged down with everything and this semester is actually tougher than the last one - I've got three science classes, all with lab. I need to write one lab report a week for one of them, another is rather easy but time consuming, and the third meets twice a week.

I've possibly found my summer job. I sent out about nine or ten emails to various veterinary clinics around my hometown and got two responses: the first was to say thanks for the interest, but was I aware that the clinic was part of a bigger string of clinics and the email was sent to Oregon? Oops. The second was actually more helpful, saying that there's an opening at the boarding kennel and if I'd like the job, send in a resume.

Of course I'd like the job! I'm working on updating my resume now and will be emailing it to them shortly. This is a really big step in the right direction for vet school, even though the military option is still on the back burner. Wish me luck, everyone!
